I wrote in Trinity Coven yesterday! Mostly dialogue, as that's what comes easiest to me. I figure once I get into it I can go back and fill out the description. What I finally had to do was bring a notebook in while I watched my son take a bath - no procrastinating, no computer or tv distractions, just a splashy kid to dodge water from. I rarely write longhand, but sometimes a change is just what I need.

  1. are young enough to remember how to write in longhand. I'll give you a visual of what it is like for me to write in longhand:

Twist your writing hand around like it was crippled, wrap your fist around one of your son's large Crayola crayons, make sure you have you tongue flopping out of one side of your mouth, then mumble to yourself in incoherent monosyllables while you draw perverse charactures of the alphabet.

I know. It hurts me to think about it, too. So I type now, instead. :)

Good luck with your writing, and happy word hunting!
